Wonderful boutique hotel in superb location near the inner harbour in Victoria. Intimate, comfortable, well-appointed, extremely helpful and accommodating staff, lovely rooms -- everything one could ask for in a boutique hotel. Highly recommended.

The Magnolia features the on-site Prime Steakhouse Restaurant and Lounge. At lunch and dinner, Prime serves up six cuts of steak, all treated with an on-site dry aging process and cooked by the kitchen's Montague over-fired broiler, and offers an extensive wine and liquor selection. Spa Magnolia, located on the main floor, features a full menu of therapeutic massage and beauty treatments. Prime Steakhouse Restaurant and Lounge - Decorated with a six-foot wide iron chandelier, floor-to-ceiling velvet drapes, and leather and upholstered seating surrounding the fireplace. Chef Batty offers six cuts of steak, all treated with an on-site dry aging process and cooked by the kitchen's Montague overfired broiler, which seals in the flavor and juice with a crisp crust. Other fare, such as lamb, a selection of fresh seafood, poultry, and pasta, is also available, as is Prime Rib on Fridays and Saturdays. Features an extensive wine and liquor selection. Open for lunch and dinner.
Recreation
The hotel's small fitness center has a treadmill, stationary bike, elliptical trainer, and free weights. Guests also receive complimentary access to a YMCA three blocks away, providing an indoor pool, spa tub, squash and racquetball courts, cardio equipment, and strength-training machines.
